| MESSAGE FROM THE
PRESIDENT |
The Board is buzzing this summer! Even though we’re taking our summer break from chapter meetings, board members are very busy. We have exciting things going on with programs, with membership, with special projects, and with communications. I’ll let each of these board members fill you in with details, and I’ll simply say: watch for new developments in our program offerings for the rest of this year, new meeting options, and new ways we communicate with members!Read the Full Message...

| COMMITTEE REPORTS |

Special Services—Michelle Paasch
We held our first committee meeting with great success. We are filling sponsorship spots quickly for the upcoming conference in December. We also only have three open meeting sponsorships available for our monthly membership meetings. If you are interested in being a sponsor or would like more information please contact Michelle at 314-439-8090 ext.323.
Communication—Barb Crockett
In addition to the change in format for our quarterly newsletter, the Communication Committee has been busily working on the redesign of our website. We are planning to give it a more modern look, include some changeable features, and incorporate pictures from our events and programs. Our goal is to make the website a viable tool that will enable members to stay current with events and other members. We are also planning a “Suggestion Box” feature that will enable all members to make contributions and recommendations. We will let you in on all the details as they are finalized and let you know when our new and improved site is up and running.
Programs—Rebecca Judd
When our summer hiatus ends, we will resume our monthly chapter meetings and I’m very excited about our programs for September and October! Here is a brief overview of the program topics and speakers for these meetings: Read the Full Report...

ASTD donates funds to the St. Louis chapter, whether you are a member or not, when you do business with them using our Chapter Source Code, which is CH6012. So, if you buy an ASTD book or attend their next conference, please use the Chapter Source Code! This works whether you call 800-NAT-ASTD, buy something at www.astd.org, or if you have an ASTD order form - just write our Chapter Source Code on it. Benedictine University at Springfield
