When asked to develop a presentation do you freeze? Have you ever stared at a blank PowerPoint screen and wondered where to start? Join us for "Developing Powerful Presentations"; a workshop on how to quickly conceptualize and design presentations. Points we'll cover include:

• Clarifying and refining your presentation objectives
• Analyzing your audience
• Quickly creating a logical narrative outline
• Powerful opening and closing statements
• Tools for supporting your presentation – when they work and when they don't

Our goal is to provide you with some simple and useful techniques for developing presentations that will engage and make you a stronger presenter.

Our Speaker
Marvis Meyers is the Vice-President of Training and Organization Development for AAIM. In her role with AAIM she manages the AAIM public and customized training programs. In addition, she works with AAIM members to design and implement management and leadership development programs and processes.

Prior to joining AAIM Marvis was the Manager of Training and Organization Development at Tyco Healthcare. During her time with Tyco she managed the managerial training function for all of Tyco Healthcare domestically. Marvis was also the head of Branch Training for Edward Jones, the financial services firm.

Marvis was an Executive Coach and Personal Productivity Coach for seven years. She has worked with a number of managers and executives in the areas of strategic planning, team building, project management, personal productivity and communication skills.
